How to use the zodiac wheel
- The wheel starts with all 12 zodiac signs, from Aries to Pisces.
- Press Spin, click the wheel, or press Ctrl + Enter.
- The pop-up shows the sign the wheel picked.
- Want the dates as well? Press the "Signs with dates" quick list before you spin.
Every result goes into the Results tab, so you can look back at the signs you have spun.
Ideas for the zodiac wheel
- Drawing prompts: spin a sign and draw its symbol, such as the ram, the bull or the twins.
- Story starters: give a character a random sign and use it to shape how they act.
- Party games: spin a sign, and everyone born under it takes the next turn.
- Guess the birthday: spin a sign and guess which friend was born under it.
- Gift ideas: spin for a sign and pick a small gift or card with its symbol on it.
Signs and their dates
Each sign covers about one month of the year. Aries covers 21 March – 19 April, and the signs follow each other through the year after that. The dates can shift by a day from year to year, because the calendar and the sky do not line up exactly. If you were born on the first or last day of a sign, you might see a different sign on another site.
Load the "Signs with dates" quick list to see every sign with its dates right on the wheel.
Spin it with a group
Press Full screen to show a big wheel on a TV or a classroom screen. Turn the sound on for a tick as each sign passes the pointer. To give everyone a different sign, press "Remove this entry" after each spin.
For fun only
The zodiac wheel is a random picker. It cannot predict the future, and it does not say anything true about a person. Treat it as a game, a drawing idea or a way to start a chat. Each sign has the same chance of coming up, and past spins have no effect on the next one.
Make your own sign wheel
You can change the list to suit your game. Clear the entry box and type any signs you like, such as the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac or the four elements. Save your wheel in the Saved tab, or press Share link to send it to a friend.
The list of signs and dates is plain facts. Where it comes from is shown under the wheel. Looking for a different kind of random fun? Try the color wheel spinner or the truth or dare wheel.
