How to run a raffle draw
- Add your entries. Type or paste names, one per line. Or type the first and last ticket numbers in From and To and press Make wheel.
- Press Spin. The wheel slows down and stops on the winner, and a pop-up shows the result in large text.
- For the next prize, press "Remove and spin again". The last winner leaves the wheel first.
- Keep going until every prize has a winner. The Results tab lists them all, in order.
The wheel starts empty, so it only ever holds your own entries. Your list is kept in this browser, so it is still there if you close the page by mistake.
Names or ticket numbers?
Names are simplest for a small group, such as a class or a team. Ticket numbers suit a bigger event, where each person keeps a numbered ticket and the wheel draws a number. For numbered tickets, type 1 in From and the last ticket in To, then press Make wheel.
If some people have more tickets than others, type their name once for each ticket. The wheel gives every line the same chance, so more lines means a better chance.
Draw for several prizes
Decide the order before you start, for example from the smallest prize to the biggest. Then draw one winner at a time and remove each one. Removing the winner means nobody can win two prizes, and the Results tab keeps the order of the draw. Press Copy results at the end to share the full list of winners.
Make the draw easy to trust
- Show the list first. Let people see that their name or number is on the wheel before you spin.
- Draw where people can see. Press Full screen and show the wheel on a projector, a big screen or a live stream.
- Keep the record. Copy the results, or take a screenshot of the Results tab.
Each result is chosen by your browser's secure random numbers the moment you press Spin, and every entry has the same chance.
Free draws only
This raffle wheel is for free draws, such as class rewards, office parties, club nights and event giveaways. It has no way to sell tickets or take payments. If people pay to enter, there may be rules where you live, so check them before you run the draw.
